TE Connectivity $1.4 billion acquisition of Astrodyne TDI

Davis Polk is advising TE Connectivity plc on its definitive agreement to acquire Astrodyne TDI from Tinicum L.P. for approximately $1.4 billion. Upon closing, Astrodyne TDI will continue to operate under its current leadership team and become part of TE’s Automation & Connected Living sector. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions and is expected to close by the end of 2026.
