We advised Knighthead Capital Management and 885 Capital on the transaction

Davis Polk advised Knighthead Capital Management, LLC and 885 Capital in connection with a strategic capital raise by the Professional Fighters League (PFL) pursuant to which affiliates of Knighthead and 885 Capital expanded their ownership stake in PFL. Proceeds of the capital raise will be used to retire existing debt and fund ongoing growth and operations.

Professional Fighters League is a global mixed martial arts (MMA) organization. PFL hosts MMA events across the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with planned expansion in Asia, Australia and Latin America. PFL’s fighter roster is world-class, with 30% top 25 world-ranked in their weight class by independent third parties. PFL events are broadcast and streamed live to 170 countries with 26 leading media partners.
