We are advising Sibanye-Stillwater on the acquisition

Davis Polk is advising Sibanye Stillwater Limited (Sibanye-Stillwater) on its acquisition of Abington Reldan Metals, LLC and certain affiliated companies (Reldan) at an enterprise value of $211.5 million. The transaction is expected to close during the first quarter of 2024, subject to receipt of applicable antitrust and regulatory approvals and satisfaction of other closing conditions.

Sibanye-Stillwater is an international precious metals mining company, with a diverse portfolio of platinum group metal operations in the United States and Southern Africa, gold operations and projects in South Africa, and copper, gold and platinum group metal exploration properties in North and South America.

Reldan is a Pennsylvania-based metals recycling group that processes a variety of waste streams, including industrial and electronic waste. In addition to its U.S. operations, Reldan has joint ventures with local partners in Mexico and India.
