Kendall advises clients on a wide range of national-security-related regulatory matters, including U.S. anti-money laundering (AML) and economic sanctions laws and regulations. He also supports our work before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States.

Kendall’s practice includes emerging regulatory and compliance issues related to the digital transformation of the financial sector, including the adoption of digital assets and artificial intelligence. He represents banks, fintech companies and financial institutions in regulatory examinations and enforcement proceedings involving AML and sanctions matters before FinCEN, the Federal Reserve, the OCC, the FDIC and state regulators. His experience includes advising on banking-as-a-service arrangements, sponsor bank oversight obligations and third-party risk management frameworks.
