On June 8, 2023, Davis Polk partner Kara Mungovan will be among the speakers at the Tax Executive Institute New York Chapter’s “M&A Tax: Practical Implications of M&A transactions from modeling, diligence, legal agreement, planning and integrating the Target” program. The program will be hosted by KPMG.

Kara will speak on the “International Tax Issues” panel. Topics discussed will include sections 245A, 958(a)(2) indirect ownership of stock, 1248 and 338, CAMT and Pillar 2.
