Davis Polk partner Michael Hong was quoted in Private Equity Law Report from a panel discussion at Practising Law Institute’s “Twenty-Third Annual Private Equity Forum” on how in-house counsel and other legal personnel can navigate ethical dilemmas and conflicts of interests arising from their role. Michael noted that counsel must always keep in mind the obligation to act in the best interest of the client and be able to identify when an individual that comes to them may not be acting in the client’s best interest.
