Davis Polk partner Ronan Harty and associates Nathan Kiratzis and Anna Kozlowski served as editors of Global Competition Review’s Merger Remedies Guide – Fourth Edition. The team also wrote the “Overview” chapter, which, in addition to providing a detailed overview of each of the parts that make up the book, discusses the effects of COVID-19 on merger remedies and includes an overview of four retrospective studies of merger remedies that have been conducted by antitrust authorities in the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom and Canada.

The Merger Remedies Guide provides guidance and analysis for practitioners and regulators navigating how to successfully remedy the potential anticompetitive effects of a merger. The guide includes information on practices and precedents from the United States and the European Union, as well as Australia, China, India and Japan, reflecting the global nature of merger rules.
