Davis Polk represented TSMC, MediaTek and Qualcomm in federal court and the U.S. International Trade Commission in a five-patent case brought by Innovative Foundry Technologies. The patents at issue originated from AMD and addressed various aspects of semiconductor design and manufacture. After the team, along with co-counsel, developed defenses plainly showing non-infringement or invalidity for each of the asserted patents, the case resolved favorably.

The Davis Polk litigation team included partner Ashok Ramani and associates Philip Sheng, Ian Hogg, and Chui-Lai Cheung. Members of the Davis Polk team are based in the Northern California and New York offices.
