Davis Polk is advising multiple public companies in the SEC cybersecurity investigation concerning the compromise of SolarWinds software. The SolarWinds incident is the most pervasive publicly acknowledged supply-chain attack to date, affecting small, midsize and large businesses across all industries, as well as local, state and federal government agencies. 

The SEC disclosed publicly that it has contacted entities that may have been impacted by the SolarWinds incident to request that they provide information on a voluntary basis.
