Davis Polk advised the representatives of the several underwriters in connection with the $13.3 billion secondary offering of 31,628,573 shares of common stock of BlackRock, Inc. by a selling stockholder affiliated with the financial institution, which included the full exercise of the underwriters’ option to purchase additional shares. BlackRock’s common stock is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “BLK.”
