We advised ANE on its IPO and HKEX listing

Davis Polk advised ANE (Cayman) Inc. in connection with its initial public offering and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and an international offering in reliance on Rule 144A and Regulation S. The gross proceeds from the offering amounted to approximately HK$1.1 billion (US$143 million) prior to the exercise of the over-allotment option.

ANE operates a leading express freight network in China’s less-than-truckload market, providing nationwide coverage and delivering timely and comprehensive freight transportation services through its freight partner platform model. Under this model, ANE directly operates and controls all mission-critical sorting and line-haul transportation operations, while its freight partners establish outlets and provide pickup and dispatch services in collaboration with freight agents.

The Davis Polk corporate team included partners Li He and Yang Chu, associate Jennifer Ng and registered foreign lawyers Jennifer (Yujia) Jiang and Iris Li. Partner Lucy W. Farr, counsel Alon Gurfinkel and associate Kelli A. Rivers provided tax advice. Associate Leon E. Salkin provided 1940 Act advice. Members of the Davis Polk team are based in the Hong Kong, London and New York offices.
