Farr will speak on the “Banks and the International Provisions of Tax Reform” panel. Topics discussed will include the effects of global intangible low-taxed income inclusion, the base erosion and anti-abuse tax, and changes in the foreign tax credit rules on domestic and foreign banks. The focus will be on recent IRS and Treasury guidance, implementation challenges and remaining uncertainties.
