U.S. Silica is a leading producer of commercial silica used in the oil and gas industry and in a wide range of industrial applications. Over its 116-year history, the company has developed core competencies in mining, processing, logistics and materials science that enable it to produce and cost-effectively deliver over 230 products to customers across their end markets. In U.S. Silica’s largest end market, oil and gas proppants, its “frac sand” is used to stimulate and maintain the flow of hydrocarbons in oil and natural gas wells.
