Davis Polk Civil Litigation Group co-head Dana Seshens and partner Veronica Wissel have been named to Crain’s New York Business 2021 Notable Women in Law list. The list highlights women who have made an impact both professionally and in their communities.

Seshens has served as counsel in a diverse spate of legal proceedings focusing on complex commercial litigation, securities class actions, bankruptcy litigation and civil litigation, among other advisory matters.

Wissel has counseled clients on an assortment of executive compensation related topics, including the design and implementation of equity, retention and incentive plans, compensation, disclosure and regulatory compliance and employment negotiations with senior executives. The profile also noted her knowledge of compensation and benefits related to mergers and acquisitions, and her counsel of asset managers and broker dealers on financial products included in pension plans, particularly on issues of compliance with the Employee Retirement Income Security Act fiduciary rules.
