Davis Polk partner Dan Stipano was recently quoted in Reuters on why evolving U.S. anti-laundering rules require enhanced tracking and training. “It’s probably never been more important to stay on top of things with the [Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2020] and the upcoming implementation,” Stipano said at Davis Polk’s “Key AML developments in law and practice: How to avoid liability” webcast. “There are going to be some very, very significant changes coming down the road over the course of the next year or two that could really transform AML compliance.”
