Davis Polk advised the initial purchasers in connection with a Rule 144A/Regulation S offering by Colbún S.A. of an aggregate principal amount of $500 million of 3.15% notes due 2030 and advised the dealer managers in connection with the tender offer by Colbún S.A. to purchase any and all of its outstanding 4.5% notes due 2024.

Colbún is engaged in the generation, transmission and supply of electricity in Chile and Peru. Colbún has a diverse generation portfolio composed of hydroelectric, thermoelectric and photovoltaic facilities and is Chile’s and Peru’s third-largest power generation company in terms of generation. Colbún is currently controlled by the Matte Group, one of Chile’s largest and most prominent investment groups.
