Davis Polk advised the joint book-running managers in connection with the initial public offering of 40,250,000 units of Capitol Investment Corp. IV, including 5,250,000 units purchased pursuant to the exercise in full of the underwriters’ over-allotment option, for aggregate proceeds of $402.5 million. Each unit consists of one Class A ordinary share and one-third of one warrant to purchase one Class A ordinary share of Capitol Investment Corp. IV. The units, the shares and the warrants will be listed on the New York Stock Exchange. 

Capitol Investment Corp. IV is a blank check company formed by Mark D. Ein and L. Dyson Dryden for the purpose of entering into a business combination with one or more businesses or entities.
