Davis Polk partner Byron Rooney was quoted in Law360 on the outlook for the IPO pipeline. “It’s definitely not 2021, but the green shoots are starting to emerge,” he said.

Looking ahead, Byron noted that companies generally are receptive to starting IPO discussions, which could bode well. He said, “People can start planning now for potentially end-of-year [IPOs], but probably more likely at least being ready for 2024.”
