Jason is co-head of Davis Polk’s market-leading Finance practice. With nearly three decades of financing expertise, Jason has advised on many of the largest and most complex leveraged, investment-grade, bridge, LBO, cross-border, private debt, restructuring and recapitalization transactions in the market. He represents major financial institutions and alternative credit providers alike on a full range of financial products, from large-cap syndicated loans to smaller direct lending transactions.

Widely recognized as a leading practitioner in his field, Jason has been ranked Band 1 for Banking & Finance by Chambers USA and Chambers Global for 13 and 11 consecutive years respectively, with clients saying “his practice is talented, deep, scaled and he’s in the thick of the latest matters in the market.” He was also ranked Band 1 for Private Credit by Chambers USA in its inaugural 2024 ranking.

Jason also serves as co-chair of Practising Law Institute’s annual Leveraged Finance program.

Outside of his legal practice, Jason is a board member of Rising Ground, a nonprofit social services organization in New York.
