Jason Kyrwood

Jason heads Davis Polk’s marketing-leading global Finance practice and Private Credit group. With nearly three decades of experience, he advises banks and private credit providers on the full spectrum of leveraged and investment-grade financings, including some of the most complex domestic and cross-border LBOs and strategic acquisition financings of the last 25 years.
Jason has led the Finance practice through several major market developments, including expanding its reach into hybrid capital, structured credit, securitization, and project and infrastructure finance, while solidifying the firm’s position as a premier market leader in finance. He is ranked in Band 1 by Chambers USA in both Banking and Private Credit, a three-time winner of American Lawyer’s “Dealmaker of the Year” award, and a member of Legal 500 U.S.’s “Hall of Fame” for Commercial Lending: Advice to Bank Lenders.
Outside of his practice, Jason serves on the boards of Rising Ground and MCE Social Capital.
