We advised SVP and a related joint venture on the transactions for a multifamily development
Davis Polk advised a joint venture co-sponsored by affiliates of Strategic Value Partners (SVP), One Investment Management, RXR Realty and Columbia Property Trust in connection with the acquisition and recapitalization of Hudson House, a partially constructed 829-unit multifamily development located in Jersey City, New Jersey. Davis Polk also advised SVP in connection with the joint venture and the refinancing of a mortgage loan provided by an affiliate of Apollo Global Management Inc.
SVP is a global alternative investment firm focused on distressed debt and private equity opportunities. It has approximately $22 billion in assets under management and, since inception, has invested more than $53 billion of capital.
