We advised Reliance on the transaction

Davis Polk advised Reliance Industries Limited and Reliance Retail Ventures Limited in connection with KKR’s investment of ₹2,070 crore into Reliance Retail Ventures Limited.

Reliance Industries Limited is India’s largest private sector company. Reliance Retail Ventures Limited is a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited.

Founded in 1976 and headquartered in New York, KKR is a global investment firm that offers alternative asset management as well as capital markets and insurance solutions.
