Davis Polk advised Pon on the sale of an equity interest in The Hiller Companies to Littlejohn & Co. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Pon is a privately held, Netherlands-headquartered industrial conglomerate with over 16,500 employees and operations around the world, including in Europe, the United States and the Asia Pacific region. The Hiller Companies specializes in fire detection and suppression systems for commercial, industrial, marine and offshore applications, and is a supplier to governments and the military. Its services include the design, engineering, installation, service and maintenance of fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, fire extinguishing systems, fire alarm systems and security systems.

Based in Connecticut and founded in 1996, Littlejohn & Co. is a private equity firm that makes equity and debt investments in a broad range of mid-market companies.
