Planet Labs PBC $1.5 billion at-the-market offering and forward transaction
We advised the sales agents on the transaction
Davis Polk advised the sales agents in connection with the SEC-registered at-the-market offering program by Planet Labs PBC under which Planet may issue and sell shares of its Class A common stock for up to an aggregate amount of $1.5 billion. Davis Polk also advised the forward sellers and forward purchasers in connection with the forward sale component of the at-the-market offering program. The common stock is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol “PL.”
Planet was founded to design, construct and launch constellations of satellites with the intent of providing high cadence geospatial data delivered to customers via an online platform. The company’s mission is to use space to help life on Earth, by imaging the world every day and making global change visible, accessible and actionable.
