FIBRA Macquarie $1.7 billion acquisition by FIBRA Mty
We advised FIBRA Macquarie on the transaction
Davis Polk advised FIBRA Macquarie México in connection with its acquisition by FIBRA Mty through a public tender and reciprocal subscription offer for the outstanding real estate trust certificates (CBFIs) of FIBRA Macquarie. All conditions to the public tender offer launched on April 24, 2026 were satisfied, including participation by holders of more than 80% of the outstanding FIBRA Macquarie CBFIs. The transaction is valued at approximately $1.7 billion.
FIBRA Macquarie is a real estate investment trust focused on industrial, retail and office real estate in Mexico. Its portfolio consists of 245 industrial properties and 17 retail properties located across 16 Mexican states, representing one of the largest institutional real estate platforms in the country. FIBRA Macquarie is listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “FIBRAMQ”.
FIBRA Mty is a real estate investment trust focused on the acquisition, management, development and operation of corporate real estate properties in Mexico. As the first internally managed FIBRA in Mexico, FIBRA Mty owns a diversified portfolio of industrial and office properties and is listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “FMTY14.”
