Davis Polk advised Cerberus Capital Management and its portfolio company Closure Systems International Group Inc. (CSI) in connection with its acquisition of two North American beverage closures compression molding facilities from Amcor plc. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1992, Cerberus is an established alternative investment advisor with approximately $65 billion in assets across complementary credit, private equity and real estate platforms.

CSI is a global leader in designing and manufacturing innovative closures and capping systems for high-speed applications across consumer and industrial markets. Major categories served include carbonated soft drinks, bottled water, juices, isotonics, teas, adult beverages, dairy, foods, pharmaceutical and automotive fluids.

Amcor is a global packaging company providing solutions across food, beverage, healthcare and consumer products markets.
