We advised CARsgen on the placement and top-up subscription

Davis Polk advised CARsgen Therapeutics Holdings Limited on the placing and the top-up subscription of 23,700,000 shares for an aggregate consideration of approximately HK$470 million.

CARsgen Therapeutics is a biopharmaceutical company with operations in China and the United States focused on innovative CAR-T cell therapies for the treatment of hematological malignancies and solid tumors. Davis Polk also advised CARsgen on its IPO in June 2021. The shares are listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

The Davis Polk corporate team included partners Xuelin (Steve) Wang and Jason Xu and associates Edwin Lee and Marco Cheng. Members of the Davis Polk team are based in the Hong Kong and Beijing offices.
