Position Summary

As the Senior Coordinator for Business Services Talent Management, you will play a key role in operationalizing talent management and learning initiatives for the firm’s business professionals. In this role, your responsibilities will include, coordinating training activities, assisting with the administration of the firm’s performance management processes, contributing to the development of curated learning resources, and gathering data on the effectiveness of talent management initiatives.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, innovative and collaborative team that values your expertise, innovation, and commitment to talent excellence.

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain internal and employee-facing platforms and documentation (Workday, intranet, iManage), ensuring employees can access and understand current talent cycle forms and processes
  • Own the execution of in-person and virtual training sessions, including registration, materials preparation, attendee communications, event logistics, and post-training follow-up
  • Support the administration of the firm’s performance evaluation process. Respond to employee and manager inquiries, provide process guidance, and help ensure timely completion of evaluation forms in Workday
  • Assist in drafting clear, engaging communications to promote programs and share updates with staff
  • Identify, recommend and curate learning content aligned to the firm’s values, skill sets, and competencies using LinkedIn Learning and other platforms. Launch and promote monthly learning challenges and track firm-wide participation trends
  • Contribute to the development of presentations that share key insights and recommendations with stakeholders
  • Stay informed on trends in the adult learning and performance improvement space and share ideas to accelerate employee performance and build our teams’ credibility with business professionals at the firm
Qualifications / Position Requirements
  • Effective communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present information clearly and professionally
  • Keen attention to detail and commitment to consistently producing high-quality, error-free work
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently
  • Proven ability to think critically and proactively identify solutions or process improvements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); eager to grow analytical capabilities to support deeper data analysis, interpretation and reporting capabilities
  • Experience supporting in-person/ virtual events, including logistics, communication, and follow-up
  • Interest in talent management, learning & development, or employee experience with a desire to learn and grow in the field 
Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
  • 1–2 years of experience in talent management, human resources, learning & development, and/or related administrative roles
  • Experience in Workday and online learning platforms preferred
Compensation

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $80,000-$85,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, anticipated assignment, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Davis Polk offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
