Senior Manager, Professional Development
Monday through Friday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm (overtime as required)
The Professional Development Coordinator will provide support to the Capital Markets groups (Securities Distribution and SEG).
Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide support to the Capital Markets Professional Development Senior Manager and Senior Coordinator and groups.
- Assist with rotator and lateral integration and mentoring.
- Support assignment process for rising second-year associates.
- Help with rotator training programs, mid-level/senior training modules and group meetings.
- Assist with collection of feedback.
- Provide support in connection with the performance review and talent management processes.
- Track and analyze data, including assisting in creating charts and presentations presenting that data.
- Manage counsel/associate vacation requests/calendars and assist with coverage process.
- Review lawyer time entries.
- Create weekly hours charts.
- Assist with compilation and review of weekly staffing charts.
- Assist with record keeping/tracking of all staffing and coverage.
- Assist with lawyer get-togethers, including snack breaks, office hours and monthly group meetings.
- Assist with organizing social events.
- Assist Professional Development Senior Coordinator with staffing associates and counsel when Professional Development Senior Manager is out.
- Assist with review of the corporate roster and photo books for the groups.
- Assist with other projects for the Capital Markets groups and the Professional Development department, as requested.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Must have expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other offices and staff.
- Must have excellent leadership skills and be able to inspire confidence among associates and firm leaders.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of personnel and other sensitive matters is critical.
Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience required.
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 - $80,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, anticipated assignment, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
