On March 10 and 11, 2026, Davis Polk partner Tatiana Martins and associate Maria Morris will be among the speakers at the American Conference Institute’s Mexico Summit on Anti-Corruption & Compliance Programs.

Tatiana will moderate the “FTO designations and compliance planning review: How the industry in Mexico is strengthening risk mitigation and on-the-ground implementation to cover its bases” panel. The panel will highlight the strategic compliance measures needed to mitigate Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) penetration risks, provide pragmatic guidance for compliance professionals, legal advisors and business leaders navigating the legal and operational challenges posed by FTO designations, and discuss how to ensure both compliance and business continuity in high-risk environments.

Maria will speak on the “Using data analytics and AI to strengthen selection processes, regulatory compliance, and internal controls: Real-world examples of successful integration and efficiency” panel. Topics discussed will include the scope and limitations of data analysis, how to know if your data is “clean” and to what extent it can influence compliance decision-making, how AI boosts efficiency, the implementation of automated monitoring of data analysis and the challenges that companies face when creating and implementing programs.
