Davis Polk partner and Financial Institutions practice head Margaret Tahyar will testify before the House Financial Services Committee’s Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Monetary Policy at a hearing on “A Holistic Review of Regulators: Regulatory Overreach and Economic Consequences.” The hearing will explore the interaction and economic impact of the Federal banking agencies’ recent regulatory proposals, including Basel III Endgame, new and expanded long-term debt requirements, changes to resolution plans, along with continued opacity surrounding Federal Reserve stress testing.

The hearing will be held at 2:00 pm ET on September 19, 2023 in Washington DC.
