Davis Polk partner and Financial Institutions practice head Margaret Tahyar will testify before the House Financial Services Committee’s Subcommittee on Financial Institutions at a hearing on “Right-Sizing the U.S. Bank Capital Framework: A Return to Tailoring, Economic Growth, and Competitiveness.” The hearing will outline the U.S. bank capital framework, assess how regulatory capital requirements affect financial institutions of various sizes, and advocate for a more transparent and risk-aligned capital regime.

The hearing will be held at 10:00 a.m. ET on Thursday, December 11, 2025, in Washington DC.
