On January 16 and 17, 2026, Davis Polk AML/CFT head Dan Stipano and partners Eric McLaughlin and David Portilla will be among the speakers at the American Bar Association’s Banking Law Committee Meeting 2026.

Dan will speak on the “Winds of Change: The Supervisory Environment Under the Trump Administration” panel. Topics discussed will include how bank supervision is being reshaped by the Trump administration’s priorities and the impact on bank compliance and audit. 

Eric will moderate the “Lunch & Fireside Chat with Federal Reserve Board’s Randall Guynn” program. 

David will speak on the “Cross-Border Regulatory Issues Facing Banks: InHouse Perspectives” panel. The panel will highlight what keeps in-house counsel up at night in managing and advising diverse issues such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, financial crimes and the challenges of cross-border employment.
