On February 10, 2023, Davis Polk Head of Pro Bono Litigation Dara Sheinfeld will be among the speakers at the Practising Law Institute’s “Addressing Domestic Violence in the Virtual World 2023” program. Dara will speak on the “Addressing Technology-Facilitated (Cyber) Abuse as Domestic Violence” panel. Topics discussed will include how technology-facilitated abuse is a domestic violence tactic, how to recognize the psychological and economic impact on victims of technology-facilitated abuse, a review of the forms of technology-facilitated abuse and strategies for interviewing clients as well as the elements that may be needed to plan for safety.
