On September 15-16, 2026, Davis Polk partner Connie Milonakis and counsel Maxim Van de moortel will be among the speakers at L Suite’s 2026 Legal AI Euro Conference.

Connie will speak on the “Two speeds, one deal: Working across the AI adoption gap” panel. Topics discussed will include using AI maturity as leverage in fee and scope conversations and shaping protocols that make collaboration work across the gap.

Connie will also co-lead the “Human in the loop (or not): Governance standards for autonomous AI decision-making” roundtable. Topics discussed will include surfacing frameworks for embedding legal checkpoints into product and engineering processes and building audit trails that hold up to regulatory scrutiny without bottlenecks that undermine the business case for automation.

Maxim will co-lead the “Advising the board on AI Act risk appetite” roundtable. Topics discussed will include how to frame AI Act compliance advice for a board, document it in a way that survives later examination and stay on the right side of their professional obligations while still supporting the business.
