On March 9, 2026, Davis Polk partners Andrew Ahern and Michael Hong will be among the speakers at the International Bar Association’s annual International Conference on Private Investment Funds. 

Andrew will speak on the “Trends in platform arrangements, side letter negotiations, syndications and co-investments” panel. The program will cover the types of multi-fund and umbrella arrangements that sponsors are using to attract capital in a challenged environment along with what is considered aggregated carry and how it affects how professionals are paid. 

Michael will speak on the “Key trends in private funds” panel. Topics discussed will include the latest trends in private equity funds, such as current hot-button negotiation points for GPs and LPs and where the market is moving on economic, governance and other fund terms.
