Davis Polk partner and Northern California office co-head Neal Potischman was named a “Distinguished Leader” honoree by The Recorder as part of the publication’s annual California Legal Awards.

Over the past twelve months, Neal has secured several important wins for clients, played an integral role in the expansion of the firm’s Northern California practice, and was heavily involved in the process of relocating Davis Polk’s NorCal office from Menlo Park to Redwood City.

In his honoree profile, Neal discusses his approach to leadership, the changing legal profession, how lawyers should adapt for the future, and his advice for people considering law or just starting out in their legal careers.

The California Legal Awards will be presented on June 25, 2025, in Los Angeles.
