Davis Polk partner and Corporate Department head Michael Kaplan and partner and Finance practice co-head Jason Kyrwood were named to Crain’s New York Business’ 2026 “Notable Leaders in Accounting, Consulting and Law.” The list recognizes individuals who demonstrate significant leadership, industry impact and community engagement. 

In a profile, the publication highlighted Michael’s role on Davis Polk’s Management Committee and his work advising clients on a range of U.S. and international capital markets and leveraged finance transactions, including Boeing $24.25 billion common and depositary share offerings, the largest-ever U.S. follow-on equity offering.

The publication highlighted Jason’s leadership of Davis Polk’s Finance practice through major developments, including expanding its reach into direct lending, hybrid capital, structured credit, securitization and infrastructure finance, as well as his role on the board and management committee of Rising Ground, a nonprofit human services organization supporting individuals and families in New York.
