Davis Polk received a Silver Award in recognition of our commitment to pro bono and community service. This year, lawyers and staff from our Hong Kong office took on a range of important and impactful projects, including appellate and first-instance work with refugees, advocacy for the LGBTI+ community, and providing advice to social enterprises and charities.

The Law Society also presented Individual Gold Awards to counsel Jonathan Chang, associate Katy Choi and trainee solicitor Leanne Chu. Associate Vivian Chow and trainee solicitors Jacky Fung, Kirstie Leung and Caroline Wang received Individual Silver Awards, and associate Lincoln Jim received an Individual Bronze Award.

Isaac Shaffer, Head of Legal Services at Justice Centre Hong Kong, received the Young Lawyer Special Award. As a long-term partner to Justice Centre, we are proud to work with and support Mr. Shaffer in his tireless advocacy for some of Hong Kong’s most vulnerable individuals and communities.
