Davis Polk partner and Capital Markets co-head Maurice Blanco discussed the recent uptick in Latin American capital markets activity with Law.com International.

“There’s pent-up demand due to the quiet markets we all experienced in the past 18 months,” Maurice explained.

The article notes that in January, Maurice guided the Central American Bank for Economic Integration through a $1.35 billion notes offering, one of several Latin American deals fielded by Davis Polk so far in 2024, with a combined deal value of more than $3 billion.
