Davis Polk partner Gabe Rosenberg was quoted in Law360 discussing the Senate Banking Committee’s draft bill to regulate digital asset markets.

Gabe said, “[The drafters] have done an excellent job,” but there are still many details that need to be ironed out.

“Not only is the bill 278 pages long, but those 278 pages are full of complex legal details and interactions with existing law,” he said.

Gabe noted that even if the Banking Committee reaches a consensus during the mark up process, “[The task] will become even more complex once the Senate Agriculture Committee marks up its companion bill.”
