Davis Polk has again been named International Financial Law Review’s “Americas Firm of the Year,” while also taking home multiple team, deal and individual awards.

IFLR held its annual Americas Awards on May 19, 2022, in New York. The awards recognize the most innovative cross-border deals across the United States, Canada and Latin America in 2021, and the teams and individuals who made them happen.

In total, Davis Polk received seven awards.

Davis Polk capital markets counsel Jennifer Ying Lan was named among the “Rising Stars of the Year.”

The firm was named “Equity Team of the Year” and was honored for its role advising Nubank on its $2.6 billion IPO, named “Equity Deal of the Year.”

The firm was also recognized for its role in Grupo Bimbo’s sustainability-linked RCF, named “Loan Deal of the Year,” the Government of Belize debt restructuring, which won “Debt and equity-linked Deal of the Year,” and the restructuring of Hertz Global, named “Restructuring Deal of the Year.”
