Davis Polk deals shortlisted for Latin Lawyer’s 2026 Deal of the Year Awards 

Two Davis Polk deals are shortlisted for the 2026 Latin Lawyer Deal of the Year Awards. The awards recognize complex deals, taking into consideration the value, timeframe, legal creativity, political and regulatory sensitivity, and number of jurisdictions to which the deal relates.

Davis Polk advised on the following transactions selected as “Deal of the Year” finalists:

• Deal of the Year: Capital Markets – Avianca launches US$1.1 billion exchange offer
• Deal of the Year: Capital Markets – Esentia launches Mexico’s second IPO this month

The winners will be announced on May 7, 2026, in São Paulo.
