Davis Polk advised The Orogen Group on its $108 million strategic equity investment in newly issued convertible preferred stock of Virtusa Corporation. In connection with the investment, Vikram Pandit, chairman and chief executive officer of Orogen, has been appointed to Virtusa’s board of directors.

The Orogen Group is a new operating company that was created by Vikram Pandit and Atairos Group, an independent private company focused on supporting growth-oriented businesses. Virtusa is a global provider of information technology consulting and outsourcing services that accelerate business outcomes for companies and leading software vendors.
