Davis Polk Advises MSCI Inc. on Its $400 Million Notes Offering

Davis Polk advised MSCI Inc. in connection with a Rule 144A/Regulation S offering of $400 million aggregate principal amount of its 3.625% senior notes due 2030. The notes are guaranteed by certain subsidiaries of MSCI. MSCI intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for the redemption of the remaining $300 million aggregate principal amount of its existing 5.250% senior notes due 2024 and for general corporate purposes, including, without limitation, repurchases of its common stock and potential investments and acquisitions.
