Davis Polk is advising PT Aplikasi Karya Anak Bangsa (“GOJEK”) on its ongoing Series F preferred share funding round, with an initial closing led by Google, JD.com, Tencent, Mitsubishi Corporation and Provident Capital.

Launched in January 2015 and headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia, GOJEK is Southeast Asia’s largest mobile on-demand service and payments platform. Following the completion of the Series F funding round, GOJEK’s founders will continue to maintain control over the decision-making and direction of the company and the funds raised will be used to deepen GOJEK’s market penetration across key verticals in Indonesia and strengthen its presence in its rapidly expanding regional footprint, following the introduction of GOJEK in Singapore, GO-VIET in Vietnam and GET in Thailand.
