Haiyang Zhao
Mr. Zhao has a deep focus on high-growth and technology-driven sectors, including AI, semiconductors, robotics, optical modules, biomedicine, and new consumer businesses. He has extensive experience in capital markets transactions and is particularly well regarded for his ability to draft compelling equity stories for prospectuses - clearly articulating an issuer’s technology moat, business model, growth trajectory, and industry opportunity. Recently, Mr. Zhao acted as lead drafting counsel and deal captain on a number of landmark and high-profile transactions, including Montage Technology, Xunce, and Horizon Robotics. Clients praise him for his ability to “distill a company’s core value proposition and bring its industry outlook to life,” and for being “thorough, steady-handed, professional, and highly efficient.” Mr. Zhao graduated from Tsinghua University and Harvard University. He is admitted to practice in New York and Hong Kong SAR.
