Davis Polk prevailed in a contract dispute involving agreements governing a multi-billion acquisition by our client, a national retail chain. Following three rounds of briefing and an in-person arbitration hearing, the arbitrator agreed with Davis Polk’s interpretation of the relevant contracts and decided in our client’s favor, as well as awarding costs and fees.
