We advised TorQuest on the transaction

Davis Polk advised TorQuest Partners in connection with a single-asset GP-led secondary transaction whereby TorQuest Partners Fund IV and other shareholders sold their interests in Can Art Aluminum Extrusion, a portfolio company that provides complex aluminum extrusions for transportation, electrification, building, construction and other diverse end markets in North America, to a newly formed continuation fund managed by TorQuest. The continuation fund was capitalized by a syndicate of investors led by Hamilton Lane.

TorQuest is a private equity firm based in Canada providing capital and strategic support to business owners and executives for almost 20 years, with a particular focus on middle market companies.

The Davis Polk corporate team included partner Leor Landa, counsel Benjamin Milder and associate June Han. Partner Ethan R. Goldman and associate Constance Zhang provided tax advice. All members of the Davis Polk team are based in the New York office.
