We advised Trackhouse on the transaction

Davis Polk advised Trackhouse Entertainment Group on a minority investment in its Superfile Trackhouse MotoGP Team by a consortium of investors. The MotoGP Team has been, and will continue to be, controlled by Justin Marks, who is best known for his time as a driver in the NASCAR Cup Series, and Avenue Sports Opportunities Fund, L.P., a sports-focused investment fund.

Trackhouse is a sports and entertainment organization that owns and operates racing teams competing in the NASCAR Cup Series and MotoGP World Championship.

The Superfile Trackhouse MotoGP Team is a professional motorcycle racing team that competes in MotoGP, the highest level of Grand Prix motorcycle racing. The investment will allow the MotoGP Team to continue to invest in its drivers and operations as it continues to operate in a rapidly growing global sport.

The Davis Polk corporate team included partner Jon Oram and associates Mack Weber, Adam Pukier and Rahul Srivastava. Partner Ethan R. Goldman and associate Zoey Chau provided tax advice. All members of the Davis Polk team are based in the New York office.
