Jon is the head of our Sports practice. Widely recognized as a leading adviser in the sports industry, Jon advises clients at the intersection of sports, finance and global investment on complex, high-value deals that are transforming the industry.
Jon navigates sophisticated transactions and delivers innovative solutions for owners, investors, league and other stakeholders throughout the sports ecosystem. His experience includes franchise sales and other M&A transactions, private equity and credit investments, structured finance, facility development, fund formation, media rights agreements, complex joint ventures and strategic partnerships.
Jon was named to the Hollywood Reporter’s “Sports Lawyers Power List” in 2025 and is ranked in Band 1 for Sports Law by Chambers USA, where a client notes, “Jon is…the person you want on your side when doing the most important transaction for the organization.”
He serves on the board of Advocates for Children of New York.
